Daedelus

Everyone’s favourite Victorian-garmented futurist is set to turn entire worlds upside down from his podium at the Rhythm Factory with his deft skills, elegant flair and wild imagination. Just as the mythical Daedalus desinged the labyrinth where the Minotaur lived, this Californian beatmaker weaves intricate sonic tapestries with the aid of his steampunk music machines. This will be his first London appearance since putting out the ‘Righteous Fists of harmony” EP on Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label, and the DVD release of the excellent documentary ‘Second Hand Sureshots’, which captures all of Daedelus’ creative genius on camera. The aptly named Rhythm Factory is in for an absolute treat tonight.

21 year old Mancunian Fantastic Mr Fox is on everyone’s lips these days, with a series of excellent mixes and his Sketches Ep on Black Acre recordings. Tonight is a great chance to see what the fuss is all about.
