Soundcrash are excited to announce that electronic soundscapist Ulrich Schnauss will be performing one of his biggest ever London shows at Islington Assembly Hall, with Nat Urazmetova on hand to provide stunning visuals.

Known for his ethereal mixture of beats, synthesizers and haunting vocals, Ulrich is many talents rolled into one; artist, producer, mixer, and remixer.

Already a prolific artist in the ambient, drum and bass scene, he caught the eye of Berlin electronica label CCO (City Centre Offices) and is now considered one of the pioneers for the electronic genre. His involvement in Tangerine Dream has also earned his tunes a place among electronic classics, with listeners smitten by his use of lush instrumentation and the emotional impact of his elegant music.

The new live visual performance by Nat Urazmetova ‘Crosspoint’ created in response to Ulrich Schnauss soundscapes, is based on the ideas of the rhizomatic, decentralised and re-configured perception. At the thematic core of the performance is the formation of bio-structures and hypothetical visualisation of the wrapped space, failing algorithms, alternative and intra life forms.

Producer and live artist, Guy Andrews known for creating textural electronic music with tinges of post-rock, techno, ambient, and afrobeat influences, will be supporting Ulrich’s biggest ever London show. He has released music on Fabric London’s label Houndstooth amongst many others.

Islington Assembly Hall will provide the the perfect backdrop for this journey into the depths of cinematic electronica. DO NOT MISS OUT…
