Dancefloor heroes Norman Jay (MBE), Nicky Siano, and Marshall Jefferson are all coming together for Freak, the biggest disco party of the year

A trifecta of musical prowess, we’ve managed to get these three icons under one roof for a night of boogie, disco and rare grooves. Each pioneers in their own right; this is a one-off occasion to witness a selection of the industries most respected DJ’s… all of whom’s history in the game is dripping in incomparable mirror-balled glamour.

Starting with Nicky Siano, legendary DJ from the golden age of 70’s New York disco. Not only was his club “The Gallery” an integral point in the creation of the disco scene in New York but Siano’s technique was also something that changed the way decks have been used ever since … beatmatching, EQing, and the use of three turntables to create “proto-disco” are all things that we can attribute to this game changer. Original Studio 54 resident, his selections span from soul to funk and gospel… you’ll want to bathe in the presence of this original disco luminary.

Known to many as the “Godfather” of house music, Marshall Jefferson is another music dignitary who has carved a huge name for himself within the industry. Having worked as a producer for Universal Recording Studios in Chicago, Marshall also had a big hand to play in the Chicago house scenes most notorious and influential tracks…

Lastly, presenting Norman Jay…It’s no surprise that Jay has been awarded an MBE for his contributions to music. Having started his career playing in 70’s New York block parties with his uncle, Jay brought back elements of their club-culture to the London scene. Notably Jay was one of the creators of our beloved “KISS” radio, and the “Good Life” soundsystem that was the first to play funk, soul and disco at Notting Hill Carnival. Being the figure who fostered the rare-groove scene here in the UK, it’s what he’s done for the dance scene that deservedly makes him one of the most popular and loved DJ’s that this country has produced.

To keep the party going until the early hours, we also have a host of other DJs, including Waxist and Danuka, who will keep the floor moving and grooving. Very special guests still to be announced…

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to bare witness to three heads who changed dance music forever.
